#1 Preparation with a capital P.

Here's the yardstick first entry. I promise that the interest level will improve when I'm actually in-country.......

So it's all happening. 5 week count down & I'm flat chat with the preparations.
Lots of medical visits, work promo application, moving gear back to Sydney, Goulburn digs up for auction (the open house inspections are a drag but at least I won't be homeless).
And I won't elaborate on the lack of progress with language skills...
Just found out there are 12 volunteers heading to Thailand and there'll be 2 of us in Chiang Mai. We've got pre-departure training in a couple of weeks in Canberra.
Catching up with lots of friends around NSW in the last month has been fun.
I plan to post a blog again just before I head.
